Hi Evergreeen

This is supposed to be done once a year, but in the real world it just hasn't been happening and is an industry gripe that if the councils had been doing regular inspections, many of the problems experienced on the few parks would not have occurred.

However, this is something that is being worked on at the moment - making the Local Councils aware of their duties.

Regards

Ed.

Hi Evergreeen, Well at least we have the new Model Stie Licence standard published now. That's a start!

I had wanted to upload them on to Park Home Living, but sadly, we are suffering server issues at the moment and the website is down, so I have attached them to this post.

They must be read in their entirety, which means including the notes at the end! They are a guide for Local Councils, who may alter them slightly to better meet the needs of a particular park, but you will see that in the notes.

Trying to make Councils aware of their duties to inspect once a year is still an ongoing nightmare!

Ed.

Thankyou  Ed  much appreciated, and  yes  your  right  if  regular  inspections  took  place  a  big  percentage  of  problems  would  be  dealt  with  in  the  bud.       evergreen
