Re: Our beloved dogs...
The first photo is of Kiki when she first came to live with us. She was less than a year old then and she had been more or less left to fend for herself by near neighbours who got her as a Christmas present for the child. They never fed her so I fed her through the fence and when she had 8 pups under the hedge she dug her way under the fence to come and find us. That evening her owner came round for her when he came home from work but she was determined so the next day she was back with us. He came for her again that evening and every evening for about a week when he decided not to come back. That was about 6 years ago and the second photo shows her now.
The third photo is our other dog and Kiki's friend Lu Lu and the two get on very well together although Kiki is boss despite being half Lu Lu's size!

I think Kiki made the right choice of owners!
She looks great now!

Re: Our beloved dogs...
Thank you both.
That is not the whole story and it would be too much to go into here but she did suffer badly in her first year. However, you would never think so now because despite her broken leg, which was never set or even seen by a vet, she runs around the fields like greyhound and runs rings around Lu-Lu. She is obviously making up for a lost puppyhood!

Re: Our beloved dogs...
I guess Ed had better get in on the doggie act as well. Here is a photo
of my Bichon, Knick Knack Paddy Whack commonly known as Paddy. Just 13
months old and I have had him for 10 days. His previous owner had him
and his brother, but is now seriously ill and couldn't cope with two and having been without a dog for
five years, how could I not resist!!
Now our office is even more chaotic! With Assistant Ed's two, Basil and Lulu and now Paddy!! Trying not to get behind in our work!!

Ah! I see now. I didn't read the small print so I was confusing that LuLu with my LuLu and had missed the names in the first post!
I am still as it said in my old school report, "If he paid attention to what is going on he could do better"

Re: Our beloved dogs...

Its not my dog, nor is it my photograph.
I found it on the internet, and thought it was so good that I would post it on here.
The title of the pic was "My new found friend"
