Algae

Hello  everyone   hope  alls  well  in  your  world.........does  anyone  have  algae  problems  on  the  paving  slabs,  with  all  the  rain  we  have  had  its  been  quite  a  problem, apart  from  getting  the  pressure  washer  out  every  five  minutes, does  anyone  know  of  anything  I  could  put  down  to  limit  its  presence ? thankyou  evergreen

Hi Evergreen, try B&Q etc they have some good anty algae, or try a good
garden centre, or you could google anty algae, i'm sure they will throw
a few options your way,i'll have ago 2morrow 4 U and let you know. bleach,&
patio cleaners are good, pure a good glug of bleach into a watering can, and
wet the area down well,
leave for 1/2hr and wash down with your power wash, or a stronge jet of
water,oh a good glug is not 1/2 a bottle, more like a mug full, make sure you
wash both out well before useing again.

Wash your flags, let them dry and use a watering can with a cupful of jeyes fluid mixed in.

Smells a bit for a while but keeps algae away from ours all winter!
