Advice on buying a Park Home

#0, by jayne, 16 April 2011 03:56 PM

I am 57 years old and was thinking of buying a Park Home probably when I reached 65.  However, just been to see one and fell in love with it.  Presently live in a brick and mortar home so would appreciate any information anyone can give me when buying, as have really no idea about these homes.  So stressed at work, we could sell our home and buy this one, without a mortgage, and I can say goodbye to my job.  Any advice gratefully received.
Thank you.

Hi Jayne

Welcome to the forum.

We have a page on our website which might be of interest to you - Buying a park home and what you should also do is to download the latest Government Park Home Factsheets, which you can find here. They will give you a load of useful information in plain English.

If you have any more questions once you have read those, do come back and we will see how we can help.

Kind regards
