l have been offered a lodge which is classed as holiday with 12months licence, the seller states i can live in it all year,but he would, wouldn't he,he wants to sell it. if it has a 12months licence why isn't it residential
              do i have less protection legally if its classed as holiday. i would be gratfull for any help offered as this will be my first parkhome purchase.

Hi there and welcome to the forum

You are absolutely correct in your assumption. You are not allowed to have your primary address on a holiday park. You would have no protection under law should the local council issue you with an enforcement order to remove your lodge from the park.

However, if you particularly wanted to buy a lodge to use as your permanent home, we have a full list of those parks licensed as residential that will accept lodges. You can find the list here.
