Hi Jacktar and welcome to the forum,

Not good certain areas for selling property. I hope you haven't put a large non-refundable deposit down with a time limit!

I am sorry that I have not repplied before but I had my Donkey ears on. Forgot you had to log on before making a reply. just could'nt understand why it would not let me write in the reply box. still all in the past. I have placed a returnable deposit. I have been to the park a number of times and have made some new friends. I have had enough of the hectic life and wish to slow down a little amoung people who feel the same. I see more of the people at work than my wife and family at present. It is about time!
Still waiting for a buyer !
i will let you know how it goes.

Hi all, just to keep up to date.We now have sale agreed and am waiting for all to go through before starting a new life. It seems that we have been waiting for ages, should all be well worth it though.
Once we are settled, I dare say we will be using the forum like most others for advice etc. as we are new to all this.
Best wishes to all

Hi ed,
just a update ! still waiting To exchange, should be any day now. Never again!
I had forgotten how stressful it had all been before. i cannot believe all the  stupid questions and the delaying tacktics the solicitors use. Still should be in before Christmas, might even be able to get some furniture to sit on.
I'll keep you informed, then the questions will come.

Hi ed,
Latest news!
First one in the chain has pulled out. We feel gutted. Hoping a buyer in the wings will take over.
Just praying now!

Sorry to hear that jacktar. Same thing happened to us, but at the beginning of the process, not close to the end like you.
Someone else made an offer we accepted, then they changed their minds 4 days later.
Couple weeks later, the first byers came back and run through to finality.
Hope something same happens to you.

We had not moved for 41 years (first and only house), we had been let down once with the sale of our home which postponed the move to a park home by a couple of months.
Then the solicitors delayed it for 2 weeks. It was in this period the tension really got to e, and the day of the move was really stressful.
Just glad that day was no longer then the 24 hours.
We settled in very quickly though and well happy with what we have.

Hi ed,
What a Happy New Year !
have at last moved in to our new home. Now busy unpacking and aranging furniture. Weather has also been kind to us allowing us to clear up the outside as well. I'll keep you posted as to how we manage. The shed turned up today, so all I have to do is to find out how to build it, then errect it. Should be fun.
