Hi,
Yes this is the lack of insulation that park homes have, i have a thermometer in my living room and it somtimes gets to 95 degrees (35C)
Best wat to improve this would be cladding insulation on the outside of the home (expensive)
It all depends o how old your home is. The current British Standards specification would not give you a variation of temperature any different to a bricks and mortar property.
My office, we currently run this business from my home, is light and airy with a good sized west facing window and we usually need to use an air conditioner in the summer months. However, my living room faces both north and east and is much colder than the office.
I guess which way you are facing can have something to do with it as well.
Ed.
