gas safety tests

hi ... hope you don't mind the question but the owner of the park we live on has asked that we lodge a copy of our gas safety test certificate with the park office .i was just wondering if this is correct .we live in scotland don't know if this makes a difference .
hope someone can give me advice on this 

Hi Shazm1 and welcome to the forum,

This is a new one on me.

In England if you are renting out your property, a landlord is required to have a Gas Safety Test Certificate done once a year I believe, but I have never heard of this if you are living in your own park home.

If you are renting from the park owner, it would be he/she who would have to supply this certificate as the Landlord, as the park home would be their property.

You might like to try giving the Technical Division of the National Caravan Council a ring on 01252 318251 for clarification.

after a fair few calls to the ncc i have news on the gas test question i asked ..apparently the park owner can not enforce the gas test to be undertaken but he can recomend that we have them done if we then wish to let him have a copy of the test cert that is our choice
