Park Home sites between Manchester / Edinburgh

#0, by tycki, 31 July 2011 09:55 PM

In a bid to start researching park home living (with 4 yrs. to go to retirement!), I want to look around as many sites as possible to get a feel for what's out there.  Can anyone help me identify park sites within 20 mins.drive of the M6 / M74 /A702  -  I'm travelling up from Manchester to Edinburgh, so thought I'd drive around a few sites on the way.

HI Tycki and welcome to our forum

The only suggestion I would have is that you go into our Park Home Living website and click on the map to the right of the home page in the area you are travelling. This will bring up a list with a Google map at the top.

If you hover your cursor over the map pin, the name of the park will come up and then you can search for it by typing the name of the park into the Park Search at the top of the page. This will give you at the very minimum, if they aren't clients of ours, the name, address and telephone no.

Hope that helps.

We use Google Street View every day now, checking out the quality of parks. If you download it, you can do the same and see at first glance whether this would be the park you could be interested in living on.

If you don't have Google Earth and Street View come back and we will give you the link to download it for free.

Regards

Ed.

We live at Cressfield Park, 10 miles North of the Scottish border and close to the M74. There are vacant plots here so stop off on your way up, we are lodge No 3, and we can show you around the park and if the owners are available you could view some of the lodges..
You can also see details at this link Cressfield Park

Hi Cressfield

Please remove the link to Cressfield Park. They don't pay to advertise with us.

Many thanks

Ed.
