Hello  can  someone  shed  some  light  onto  this,  my  hairdresser  comes  on  Friday  morning , this  morning  she  was  driving  onto  the  site  when  she  came  across  the  site  owner  and  a  resident  walking  in  the  middle  of  the  road  ( no  pavements  here )  she  waited behind  them  but  no  responce, although  they  had  seen  her,  they  slightly  moved  to  one  side  but  when  she  tried  to  carry  on  they  went  into  the  middle  again..........................once  she  was  in  my  home  the  site  owner  came  to  the  door ( first  time  he  as  spoken  in  over  twelve  months )  demanding  she  lower  her  speed  errrrr  from  stop ...........or  he  will  ban  her  from  coming  to  my  home.........I  go  about  my  everyday  life, not  making  trouble  or  being  a  nuisance.yet  anything  they  can  throw  at  me  they  will...I  dont  need  to  cover  old  ground  about  this  site, but  believe  me     Im  sick  to  the  back  teeth  of  these  little  hitlers.   evergreen

Hi and sorry you are having to deal with such an umpleasant and unreasonable site owner; there does seem to be a few about, including the one where I live, so you are not alone.

I don't think the site owner can actually 'Ban` anyone coming on to the site to carry out legitimate business with an occupier such as your hairdresser.  I think his behaviour could be construed as intimidating or even harrasment but is is possibly best ignored as no doubt he seeks to provoke a reaction in the hope he can heap more unpleasantness on you.

If he persists in this type of treatment get some advice from one of the home owners associations; if you have a QRA and others have suffered in a similar way call a meeting and discuss ways of dealing with him. Maybe Ed will have some more ideas for you but it is wrong you should be treated in this way, you do have rights within your agreement under the Mobile Home Act.

Best of luck

Oh dear what a sad story and one not easy to resolve.  Living alone and also being disabled you are obviously very vulnerable; it is a shame the other residents are now, almost certainly through fear, supporting these unpleasnt people.

Have a look at this link http://www.parkhomeownersjusticecampaign.co.uk/ it does seem as if some action is underway that may prove beneficial for park home owners with problematic site owners.

Just a thought, have you considered asking the council to re-house you?;As they know the difficulty you are having and also about your disability it could be worth seeing a housing officer.

Best wishes.

Hello  Labradorfen...I  followed  the  link  in  your  reply..it  was  very  interesting  and  usefull, thankyou .......I  have  contacted  the  housing  a  few  months  back  now , but  being  as  I  have  good  accommodation.my  rateing  is  very  low  on  the  scale, which  I  fully  understand as  there  are  families  out  there  wanting  somewhere  to  live...Im  just  hanging  on  in  there ...keeping  a  file , with  photos , dates , documents, and  such...Im  sure  by  the  law  of  averages, this  situation  wont  go  on ...or  that  is  what  Im  telling  myself..you  never  know  it  might  go  to  the  daily  papers  one  day. I  wonder  how  many  of  us  buy  the  dream  of  the  lifestyle  and  not  the  home.....the  book  Im  reading  at  present  has  a  quote  inside  "  Never  try  to  teach  a  pig  to  sing, It  wastes  your  time  and  it  annoys  the  pig." mmmm  I  find  that  very  poignant  lol....tc  evergreen
