LPG questions

#0, by woodbine, 27 November 2011 03:25 PM

Hi all, hope no one suffered any damage in the winds last night?
couple of questions if i may about lpg as we approach our first winter in a PH

We are paying £44 per 47kg cylinder,i`m assuming this is a good price from what i`ve read around the internet,do prices tend to rise during the worst of the winter months?what are others paying atm?

we have a 2bed 11`x44` home(built 2009) lpg for heating and hot water(with one electric fire for living room as well)from experience how long might we expect a cylinder to last in the depths of winter assuming average usage?

cheers
John

£44 is about what we pay for the same size, only few pence different.

My next door neighbour is in a 36x12 and he reckons last year in the real bad period a bottle was lasting 2 weeks.

Dont know about price increase, but there was a time when deliveries could not be made because of road conditions - my advice would be to always keep a full bottle ready for use.
We have four bottles, 2 in use, 2 ready to use.
