Hi Evergreen

Believe it or not, there is something called 'light pollution'.

Councils are very mindful of this and often agree to only low level lighting. What do your neighbours think?

I think it's really time you contacted the Local Government Ombudsman. (Note: Relates to another post)

The previous park owner here was a bad one apparantly.
We now have a new owner but the council issued a licence to him with some restrictions until certain work was done.
One was the street lights had to be updated.
So now each corner on the site has a 17'-20' high street light with an orange light, which automatically comes on and off depending on the light from the sky.
The old ones were "prettier", but also useless really. New ones work really well.
